Angela E. Pool-Funai, DPA, is a strategic nonprofit and higher education leader whose professional journey has evolved from advanced professional staff roles to tenured faculty and senior administration. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and brings rare cross-functional expertise between academia and public administration.

Integrity Edge Consulting, LLC began with two primary objectives in mind:

1. to help public sector agencies and nonprofit organizations overcome inertia and move from brainstorming to implementation — in other words, a strategic plan that gathers dust is a waste of time; and

2. to harness the practical financial tools and principles presented in my first book, Ethics in Fiscal Administration: An Introduction (Routledge Press, 2018). Throughout my career in the nonprofit sector and higher education, I realized that there exists a gap between individual financial preparedness and the acute need for volunteers and professionals to serve nonprofit organizations with fiduciary responsibility.

My professional expertise includes change management, board development & fundraising, fiscal administration, strategic planning, alumni engagement, and governance. With 25+ years of experience, I have a unique background combining academic credibility with applicable experience to drive organizational advancement.
